These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the services provided by SovaWeb Studio (“SovaWeb”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to our clients (“you”, “the client”). By purchasing our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
SovaWeb Studio provides professional website design, development, hosting and website management services. Our standard website service consists of: Custom website design and development; Responsive optimization for desktop, tablet and mobile; Basic SEO setup; Domain connection; Website launch; Website hosting; SSL/security configuration where supported by the hosting platform; Technical maintenance; Minor website updates; Technical support. The exact scope of a project may vary depending on the agreed requirements between SovaWeb and the client.
2. Pricing
The standard SovaWeb website service consists of: €399 one-time website development fee, plus €34.99 per month for hosting and ongoing website management. The one-time development fee covers the agreed website design and development work. The monthly fee covers the continued hosting, technical management and support of the website. Additional work outside the agreed scope may be charged separately. Any significant additional work or costs will be discussed with the client before the work is carried out. All prices are stated in euros. VAT will be charged where legally applicable.
3. Payment
The one-time website fee of €399 must be paid according to the payment terms agreed with the client before development begins. The monthly €34.99 hosting and management fee is charged on a recurring basis. Where automatic payment is used, the client authorizes SovaWeb or its payment provider to charge the agreed amount according to the applicable payment schedule. If a payment fails, SovaWeb may contact the client to arrange payment.
4. Website Content
The client is responsible for providing accurate and lawful content required for the website, including where applicable: Text; Logos; Images; Contact information; Prices; Opening hours; Legal information; Other business information. The client confirms that they have the necessary rights to use any content supplied to SovaWeb. SovaWeb is not responsible for copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property claims arising from content supplied by the client.
5. Client Approval
Before the website is launched, the client will have the opportunity to review the website and provide relevant feedback. The client is responsible for checking the accuracy of information displayed on the website before launch. After approval and launch, changes outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work.
6. Hosting and Website Management
The website is hosted and technically managed through SovaWeb’s chosen hosting infrastructure. The client does not need to maintain their own Framer account for the standard SovaWeb service. SovaWeb is responsible for the technical hosting and management of the website during an active service period. SovaWeb does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website. Temporary downtime may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, hosting-provider issues, domain problems or circumstances outside SovaWeb’s reasonable control.
7. Website Updates
Minor website updates are included within the monthly service where reasonably possible. Examples may include: Updating opening hours; Replacing existing text; Updating contact information; Replacing existing images; Small content changes. Major redesigns, new pages, new functionality, integrations, custom development or substantial content changes are not automatically included and may be quoted separately.
8. Domain Names
Where SovaWeb assists with connecting a domain, the client remains responsible for providing accurate domain information and maintaining any required ownership or registration rights. SovaWeb is not responsible for domain availability, registrar policies, domain expiration or disputes concerning ownership of a domain.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client owns the business content they provide to SovaWeb. SovaWeb retains ownership of its own pre-existing systems, processes, templates, design methods, code, components, tools and intellectual property used to provide the service. Third-party software, platforms, fonts, images, plugins or other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licensing terms.
10. Portfolio and Marketing
Unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing, SovaWeb may display completed websites and related work in its portfolio, website, social media and marketing materials for promotional purposes. SovaWeb will not intentionally publish confidential information supplied by the client.
11. Third-Party Services
SovaWeb may use third-party platforms and services to provide the website, hosting, domain, analytics, fonts, forms or other functionality. The availability and functionality of third-party services may be subject to the terms and conditions of those providers. SovaWeb cannot guarantee the continued availability or functionality of third-party services outside its reasonable control.
12. Cancellation of the Monthly Service
The monthly hosting and management service continues until it is cancelled in accordance with the applicable agreement. Upon cancellation, SovaWeb will stop providing the hosting and ongoing management service at the end of the applicable service period. Once the monthly service ends, SovaWeb is no longer responsible for hosting, maintenance, updates or technical support unless otherwise agreed. The consequences of cancellation for the website itself, including any possible transfer or migration, will depend on the technical circumstances and the agreement between SovaWeb and the client.
13. Suspension or Termination for Non-Payment
If the client fails to pay amounts due, SovaWeb may suspend hosting, maintenance or other services after providing reasonable notice where required. SovaWeb may terminate the service if outstanding payments remain unpaid. Reactivation or restoration of services may be subject to payment of outstanding amounts and any reasonable restoration costs.
14. Liability
SovaWeb will provide its services with reasonable care and skill. SovaWeb is not liable for: Errors or inaccuracies in information supplied by the client; Problems caused by third-party services; Domain or registrar issues outside SovaWeb’s control; Hosting outages outside SovaWeb’s reasonable control; Losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from the client’s own actions; Indirect or consequential losses, where legally permitted. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Force Majeure
SovaWeb is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including major technical failures, internet outages, hosting-provider failures, cyber incidents, natural disasters, governmental actions or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.
16. Changes to These Terms
SovaWeb may update these Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary. The latest version will be made available on the SovaWeb website. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
17. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the SovaWeb website or during the provision of services is handled in accordance with SovaWeb’s Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms a separate document and explains how personal data is collected, used and protected.
18. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the agreement between SovaWeb Studio and the client. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws apply, those rights remain unaffected by these Terms & Conditions. Any disputes will first be addressed between SovaWeb and the client in an attempt to reach a reasonable solution.
